ICON Advertising Award Bronze Winner in Website Multimedia Category www.sertapak.com The ICON Advertising Awards celebrate the talent of advertising and marketing firms located in Kitchener-Waterloo and the surrounding area (www.exchangemagazine.com). In April of 2005 AZ Group was pleased to learn they had received a bronze award in the Website Multimedia Category for their design of Sertapak Group's website, www.sertapak.com.
WoodstockNOW.com received national recognition from The Economic Developers Association of Canada (www.edac.ca) at the association's 2004 annual conference. Chosen from an impressive field of entrants from across Canada, woodstocknow.com was selected as the nation’s best economic development web site among small and medium-sized communities. AZ Group worked alongside Woodstock's Economic Development Department, to develop the visual concept and graphic design for this unique, award-winning site.
Summit Creative Award Bronze Winner in Logo Category Chianti's Bistro and Lounge
AZ Group was delighted to learn that our logo design for Chianti's Bistro and Lounge had been named a bronze winner at the 2003 Summit Creative Awards® competition.
During intial meetings with Chianti's owner, it became apparent that this new restaurant was going to be all about love: love of great food, fine wine, the arts, and the wonderful times people would have there! In developing their logo, we endeavoured to portray Chianti's in keeping with these themes, strong and memorable yet whimsical, fun and inviting. Winning the award for our design was fantastic news and coincidentally came only two days before the restaurant opened its doors for the first time!
The Summit Creative Awards is the only competition of its kind. It was created to recognize exceptional work by advertising agencies, video production companies, multimedia firms and other creative groups with annual billings of $15 million or less. The awards program was launched to reinforce the importance of smaller agencies and their influence on our everyday culture and the economy.
